display problem

display problem when adding new record. i want a refund.

Works Well Mostly

Love the idea that I can check on my dbs without spinning up my laptop. I have some pretty big databases and it performs well. Only aggravation is that my connection definitions were erased during the last update, so now I have to redo all that work. But still pretty darned good overall! Can you make one for MongoDB?

Excellent

Good for quick review of database records. Doesnt do database manipulation however.

Loses connection

Works pretty good but it loses connection sometimes. I also have problems where it wont let me scroll down to edit data and have to start over. Very irritating.

Nice app

Works great for my MySQL needs.

Very handy

Seems to work pretty decently. Not perfect but very, very useful.

Works!

usable and useful for queries on the go

MySQL Database Client

Had great difficulty connecting, and once connected, the behavior of this app was inconsistent. I mean that the third time I wanted to connect, it wouldnt. Worse, attempts to get help were confounded by a difficult to use blog system. My request for help received a response TWO weeks later! Nice try, but I cant give this app any decent rating.

No connection

I tried to connect several different ways and nothin. I expected more for $10 and with no support I just expect a refund and will ask for it. No work no stars

Gets the job done

Database management isnt the most thrilling part of development, but it has to be done, and when youre doing it, you want a stable, reliable tool. This app has not crashed or failed me yet (knock on wood), and the fact that I continue using it means that I can count on it.

Private keys with passwords dont work

According to the support site, this has been a problem for a year, so Im dead in the water.

Highly recommended

This is the first time I spent $9.99 on the App Store but it was totally worth it. It really looks like they thought a lot about how one could manage a database on a touch device. Positively surprised by the fact that it allows you even to edit individual records.

*** DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ***

If you cant connect, you have lost $10. I cannot connect to my database and there is no support. There are no replies for connection issues on the Help website.

Outstanding MySQL client

This application is one of the best MySQL clients I have used. It allows entry of queries both through GUI menus and through direct entry of SQL queries. It has facilities for easy export of results to other formats including Apple numbers. It connects readily to a variety of MySQL databases I use. Editing and inserting records is a breeze. I recommend. Kudos to the developers!

Good app

iPhone 5 please.

Awesome. Well worth it

Its been a lifesaver at times when I need to update or examine a database record for a client. Easiest to use and has simple interface. Highly recommended.

It just works

Handy tool for viewing and editing SQL data.

A Very Robust MySQL Client

This is a very handy app for searching and editing MySQL database records. You can SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE database records, but you can’t DROP or CREATE databases or tables. It’s very useful for searching through records and exporting data in csv format. It has built in SSH tunneling with key and password authentication, a custom SQL tab with a clever keyword editor, a query builder that you can use with your thumb, and of course query bookmarking. You can export (or email) query results in csv format and save them to supported apps, like DropBox and Air Sharing, open and edit them in Textastic, or save in the app itself and access it via iTunes file sharing. There are a few minor issues that bother me. Running custom queries is a little unintuitive, but it is possible to figure out if you poke around enough. Database connection bookmarks are listed as username@hostname with hostname/database_name underneath. This can potentially make bookmarks hard to distinguish if you connect to localhost as root on multiple servers. Custom bookmark names would be nice here. Finally, while the UI makes great use of native iOS conventions, some elements could use a little polish—the text fields on the record editing screens, for instance. I haven’t tried it out on the iPad yet, but over all, this is a very solid and reliable app. $9.99 is a fair price.

Hit the mark

It was a breeze to set up with my MySQL db and view data. Adding records is simple as are basic queries. Wish it had the ability for SHA1 encryption, but support quickly gave me a work-around via custom queries. But for that and the ability to save and edit queries, it would get five stars. Well worth the investment.

Cannot connect, out of luck

This cannot connect to my server at all, either directly or through SSH. This purchase was an expensive mistake.
